Ingredients of Homemade Tofu
3 cup soaked bean soybean
3 ml rice vinegar
4 cloves garlic
2 tablespoon roasted peanuts
3 tablespoon rice flour
water as required
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon virgin olive oil
150 gm spinach
salt as required
How to make Homemade Tofu (Steps)
To prepare this vegan tofu at home, wash and soak soya beans in enough water for 5-6 hours. Afterwards, dehull the beans and milk them in a slow juicer. Next, take a cup of water and mix rice vinegar in it, and keep aside until required.
Now, put a deep pan over medium flame and boil fresh soya milk in it. Stir in between and keep removing the froth that keeps coming on the top. After a boil, switch off the burner and add rice vinegar mixed in water to it. The rice vinegar will instantly curdle the soya milk.
Now, sieve the curdled milk in the muslin cloth and put a weight on the curdled part, which remains in the muslin cloth. Now, remove the weight after around half an hour and your tofu is ready. You can cut it, as required.
Now, cut some spinach and wash it well. Once done, pat dry and add in a bowl. Sprinkle rice flour over it with salt to taste. Put this in a air fryer and air fry it for 2-5 minutes.
Finally, put a pan over medium flame and heat olive oil in it. Once the oil is hot enough, add finely chopped garlic in it and let it sauté until the raw smell goes away. Add a few coarsely done peanuts and then homemade tofu to it along with air fried spinach. Toss well and serve hot.
