Ingredients of Lamb Shami Kebabs
1 kilograms shredded lamb
50 gm coconut powder
6 chopped green chillies
2 teaspoon turmeric
2 tablespoon refined oil
150 gm chana dal
3 chopped red onion
1 teaspoon garam masala powder
salt as required
How to make Lamb Shami Kebabs (Steps)
In a cooker, add all the given ingredients along with 2 cups of water. Close the lid and cook for 4-5 whistles. Once the pressure is release, turn on the flame again and cook till all the water is dried.
Once this mixture comes down to room temperature, grind in a mixer jar.
Now make small kebabs/tikkis from this mixture and shallow fry on a non stick tawa/pan.
Cook from both sides until golden brown. Serve hot with mint chutney and tomato ketchup.
