Ingredients of Lamb Shami Kebabs
  • 1 kilograms shredded lamb
  • 50 gm coconut powder
  • 6 chopped green chillies
  • 2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 2 tablespoon refined oil
  • 150 gm chana dal
  • 3 chopped red onion
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • salt as required
  • How to make Lamb Shami Kebabs (Steps)
  • In a cooker, add all the given ingredients along with 2 cups of water. Close the lid and cook for 4-5 whistles. Once the pressure is release, turn on the flame again and cook till all the water is dried.
  • Once this mixture comes down to room temperature, grind in a mixer jar.
  • Now make small kebabs/tikkis from this mixture and shallow fry on a non stick tawa/pan.
  • Cook from both sides until golden brown. Serve hot with mint chutney and tomato ketchup.
